Co-founders Dean Mueller and Julie Amici are deeply committed to bringing high-quality music to underserved populations around the state.  Through their work as artists and producers, they have developed a network of outstanding musicians to reach those who would not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the joy of live music. 


Julie Amici is a co-founder of Fly Me To The Moon, an accomplished vocalist, music teacher, and all-around joyous spirit.

Dean Mueller is a co-founder of Fly Me To The Moon, a musician, producer, and curator of the Music Mondays series at the Lake Theater.

Alan Hager had built an acclaimed career even before joining the band of Portland blues legend Curtis Salgado. Among his accolades, Hager is a member of the Cascade Blues Association Hall of Fame.

LaRhonda Steele was awarded the 2016 – 2019 Muddy Award for Best Female Vocalist by the Cascade Blues Association and is a member of the CBAA Hall of Fame.

Ellen Whyte, a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, is a member of both the Oregon Music Hall of Fame and the Cascade Blues Association Hall of Fame.
